What about World War I Goggles?

World War One began in 1914 and ended in 1918. Frequently referred to as The Great War, more than 70 million soldiers, sailors, Marines, pilots and other military personnel were involved in the conflict. The combat eye protection worn by the military ranged from aviator goggles to goggles worn by infantry in the trenches, as well as all sort of types of other eye wear. It can be difficult to tell the difference sometimes between vintage era WW1 and WW2 military surplus, so if you are trying to identify what war a particular pair of vintage goggles come from, you want to carefully inspect the optics, the frames and the straps used to keep the glasses on your head. Also, it's worth noting that it is very difficult to find authentic goggles from this era on Ebay.
